SHIP wants your TB and Malaria Compounds
Strategic Health Innovation Partnerships (SHIP) presents an exciting opportunity for scientists working in Malaria and TB related research to submit their novel compounds with the potential to become new leads / drugs to combat Malaria and TB pathogens. SHIP will cover costs to conduct screening tests on all the molecules submitted. If a potential drug candidate is identified, SHIP will contact the researcher and seek to establish a collaborative relationship to initiate a project for further characterisation and development of the compound.
SHIP requires compounds submitted for testing to have more than 90% purity. Please advise RCIPS prior to submitting compounds so that IP due diligence can be conducted prior to the release. Further information about the criteria to apply for the screening opportunity can be found in the attached.
